Effect March 14, 2022, the Jamaica Pig Farmers
Association is recommending the following price adjustments which reflect the
current cost of production. The recommended selling price would be as follows:
Live weight: -$220.00-$230.00 per lb
Warm dress weight: –$300.00-$315.00
per lb
Dress Carcass: -$330-$350 per lb
Weaner Price: -$300.00 per lb.
These
are farm gate prices and do not include transportation/delivery charges.
